Alexis Dawn Thomas

I am a writer, mother, and lifelong learner, trying to understand what it means to raise a child and build a life during a period of enormous technological change.

I follow my curiosity, make things, and look for ideas that help us feel more at home in our own lives.

What I’m making

Projects about building a life deliberately, in mediums that leave room for thought.

App · in build

The Inner Library

A cozy, season-based life-organization app. Eight life domains, thirteen-week seasons, a Today’s Page, and a weekly closing ritual, all living entirely in your browser.

No feed, no streaks, no notifications. It opens by asking what your intention is, and everything you write stays on your own machine.

I’m still building out the full experience, but you can try the demo now. Open the demo →

Align and Create

The paper version of the Inner Library Project.

A seasonal system for writing the story of your life in your own image. Not a pre-printed planner, but a short booklet that teaches you to build the pages yourself in a blank sketchbook you choose: paint the cover, copy the structures out by hand, plan across the eight domains, live in the daily spreads, and review at week thirteen.

Copying isn’t setup before the practice. Copying is the practice.
